A 17-year-old woman was rushed to Poudre Valley Hospital Monday (July 25, 2016) after being bit by a rattlesnake. According to the Coloradoan, the unidentified woman that is visiting from out of state, was bitten on her lower leg near Picnic Rock in the Poudre Canyon natural area. She was rushed to Poudre Valley Hospital by way of ambulance, and was reported as "conscious and alert." A helicopter was on standby, however, it was not needed and the woman is currently recovering in the hospital.
