A celebration turned to horror Thursday afternoon in Loveland when Mike Severance realized his home was on fire. The Loveland-Reporter Herald says that fire crews responded after multiple neighbors called 911 to report the blaze.

According to LFRA operations chief Greg Ward, 10 apparatus and 22 firefighters responded to the home about 4:00 p.m. By 4:15 the fire was under control and they were putting out small hot spots. Fire crews are still investigating what might have started the blaze.

The owner of the house, Mike Severence is a staple in the community and owns The Cactus Grill, and The Tequila Room in downtown Loveland. The Loveland-Reporter Herald is reporting that he's lived in the home for 25 years.
