The Fort Collins dining scene is no stranger to change, and that's certainly the trend for 2019 as we've seen 8 restaurants close their doors this year.

According to The Coloradoan, there have been four in February alone: Handy's, Famous Dave's, Pot Belly Sandwich Shop, and Famous Toastery.

Since January, Zquila, Sips, Mulligan's, and Sammy's Breakfast Bar (a Dr. Seuss-themed restaurant) have also closed their doors.

Despite that, we don't have a shortage of eateries in the Fort Collins area and, in fact, we've had a boom of growth with new eateries, wine bars, and brew pubs opening all over town (places like Lucky's Market and Crooked Stave).

It's Fort Collins, so always expect change within city limits-- and maybe enjoy your favorite place while you still can.
