Last Saturday, four Colorado bands played everything from Willie Nelson to Foo Fighters to the Lumineers at BandSmash 2016.

The cover-song competition featured last year's champions, Cable Ten, as well as the newly-formed pop-punk band, It's a Trap!, country-Americana artist, Ben Marshal, and Denver's outlaws, Ryan Chrys & the Rough Cuts, who were this year's winners.

All proceeds from Loveland Mountain View Rotary's BandSmash competition benefit Heroes Among Us, a high school scholarship program. Check out some of the pics from this year's event.
