Baseball Size Hail Kills 3 Animals at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

2018 has been a weird year for weather. Colorado Springs has been pummeled non stop by large hail and yesterday, 3 animals were killed at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo from it. According to CBS Denver, the large hail injured 14 people and medical staff had to set up triage at the entrance of the zoo.

Two vultures and a duck were killed in the hailstorm and five people were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that resulted from the storm. The zoo is closed today for cleanup.
