The Denver Broncos traded back in the first round of the NFL draft and drafted Iowa tight end Noah Fant in Nashville on Thursday night.

The 6-foot-5 Fant caught 19 touchdowns in his Big Ten career.

The Broncos flipped the 10th overall pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 20th overall pick, the Steelers second-round pick and a third-round pick in the 2020 draft. Pittsburgh ended up taking Michigan linebacker Devin Bush with the pick.

Quarterback Kyler Murray of Oklahoma was the draft's first pick by the Arizona Cardinals.

Over the previous two years, the Broncos drafted defensive end Bradley Chubb and tackle Garett Bolles in the first round.
