A group of Colorado Eagles players and Chris Stewart, the team’s president and general manager, visited patients last week at UCHealth Cancer Center – Harmony Campus in Fort Collins. They shared stories with patients, posed for photos, signed autographs and just had some fun.

The special visit came in advance of the Eagles Fight Cancer Night game, which will be Jan. 19 against the Tucson Roadrunners at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland. UCHealth is offering cancer survivors special opportunities during the game, including the ceremonial puck drop and a ride on the Zamboni. Survivors also will participate in an on-ice presentation.
