Two Colorado nurses, Katherine Golden and Jennifer Axcell, decided to create and launch (in September) a free weed hotline called Leaf411.

The hope is the hotline will create an avenue registered nurses that have cannabis education experience to educate those who have questions about cannabis. Questions about anxiety to severe illnesses to pain relief to side effects that might occur.

Though Lead411 isn't the only hotline, Golden and Axcell say they have more to offer than the marijuana health and safety hotline run by Denver Health.

The duo applied for state funding and reached out to donors to keep the program going.
