The money from marijuana taxes isn't as big of a number as I thought it would be.

As you can hear in the video at :53 seconds in, the amount that it represents compared to the overall budget is small, less than a quarter of a percent, or >.25%. The city of Fort Collins brought in $923,000 over two years.

While all money is good money, I thought the influx of cash would be larger.

So, with the idea that some consequences are more easily accepted with the loads of cash that come along with them, is this enough tax money to keep this formerly illegal drug legal?
