With the NBA trade deadline looming this week, it looks like two popular Denver Nuggets players are being shopped around and could be on the outs.

Rumors are flying around the NBA circles that the Nuggets have been shopping Kenneth Faried and JJ Hickson to anyone that has an interest.

The hottest destination out there? That at least one of them could be shipped in a package to the Dallas Mavericks.

Faried has been a reliable started for Denver this season, averaging 12.5 points per game along with close to nine rebounds for the Nuggets.

The Mavericks would look at Faried as a reliable counterpart to superstar Dirk Nowitzki and Zaza Pachulia.

JJ Hickson on the other hand would welcome the change of scenery after his minutes have been drastically cut as the year has gone on. He is now averaging 6 minutes per game under new coach Mike Malone's system.

The NBA trading deadline is Wednesday, wrapping up at 1pm MT.
