Colorado real estate prices continue to soar year after year, and if Discovery Channel founder, John Hendricks' recently listed ranch sells for the asking price of $279 million, it would make it the most expensive residential property ever sold in the area.

Hendricks and his wife originally listed the main ranch for sale for $149 million back in 2017, but they've now decided to include the entire resort so have upped the price accordingly. The multi-million dollar asking price is steep, but rightfully so. The sprawling West Creek Ranch property with views for days, features a 22,000-square-foot home with eight bedrooms and bathrooms, six fireplaces, an over sized elevator, chef's kitchen, pool, spa, five-car garage, a stone two-level library, gym, and staff quarters. If that's not enough, the listing also incorporates a private resort, automobile museum with 55 cars, an airplane hangar and two helipads (and yes, a helicopter is also included). The home itself, also includes an observatory with a 12-foot-wide rotating copper dome that opens up and is perfect for stargazing.

The property might be 45 miles away from the nearest city, but with all that is included in the sale, there's not much need for anything else. There's even a convenience store within the Gateway Canyons Resort area. In addition, this resort holds 72 individual suites inside lodges, 14 casitas, five restaurants and business conference facilities.
