CBS Denver is reporting that the Colorado High School Activities Association is adding "ESports" gaming clubs an official competitions as after school activities.

The CHSAA Commissioner told CBS4 that game competitions are the fastest growing activity among young people.

“Our kids are moving in this direction, so CHSAA needs to be relevant. It is going to be one of our first inclusive coed opportunities.”

 

CHSAA has picked two games for the compitition that center around teamwork, problem solving and other school approved topics.
