Five Must See Colorado Events That Kick Off 2018
We may be in the dead of winter in the state of Colorado, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything to do in the month of January. Actually, your calendar could get full to kick off 2018!
From events in our very own backyard, to fun times happening a short drive down I-25, there is something that everyone in your family will enjoy to kick off the new year. But what events are a must "check out" in January? Here are five that we think you should have on your schedule to attend, so pack the family in the car and get ready for a fun time!
The Budweiser Events Center is once again home to the Kicker Arenacross, which will be happening over two days on January 5th and 6th. This is a fun indoor motorcycle racing series that everyone in your family will enjoy. Make sure you get your tickets to be part of the fun!
It's not Estes Park in the wintertime without taking in the Winter Festival, which happens January 13th and 14th. Tasting tickets are $30 for 21+, while regular tickets are $15 for ages 10+ and $5 for kids between 4-9. They've added something new to 2018, as they unveil the "People's Choice Best Beer", so it definitely sounds like something the adults want to be part of! Plus you can't forget the chili, which is equally amazing.
The Big Thunder Draft Horse Show is back at the Budweiser Events Center, with the 2018 event happening January 12th - 14th. Plus the Stick Horse Rodeo is back, so why not let the kids have some fun as well!
The National Western Stock Show & Rodeo continues in 2018, with this year's event kicking off on January 6th and running until January 21st. There are over 20 pro rodeos, xtreme dog shows, and much more happening during the entire event.
The award winning magician Haydini is coming to the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins on January 12th, and it's a family friendly show for everyone to be excited by. And get ready, because you may just be part of the show as well!
