Fort Collins Area Blood Supplies Critically Low, Donations Needed

Summer sees a lull in blood donations, while at the same time the need for blood supplies increases, as people are more active, and there are more injuries.

There are two UCHealth locations in Northern Colorado where you can schedule an appointment to donate blood.  One in UCHealth Family Medicine Center in Fort Collins at 1025 Pennock Place, the other at UCHealth's Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland; both in association with their Garth Englund Blood Center.

They expect the critical need for blood donations to extend for several weeks, so if you can donate, you should. It only takes about 45 minutes total and you're helping out patients here in Northern Colorado.

All blood types are welcome but they really need O negative, O positive and A positive blood types.
