By Halloween, about 200 people will be out of work at StarTek in Greeley. Though, they will be able to apply at the other locations, including two in Colorado.

The Greeley Tribune reported on Friday (August 17, 2018) that StarTek in Greeley will be closing its call center on October 22. 186 people currently work at the center that's been in operation since 1987.

It's sad to see established businesses have to close. StarTek has advertised their job fairs on our stations over the years.

The Tribune reports that StarTek, which has contracts with T-Mobile, Comcast, AT&AT, and Sprint, had a net loss of over $3M for the 2nd quarter of this year.

Employees will be able to apply at other StarTek locations such as the one in Grand Junction and the one in Greenwood Village. Both options would probably mean a move.
