The City of Greeley has officially announced when the outdoor pools and splash parks will open Memorial Day, May 27th.

This year Centennial Pool and Discovery Bay Waterpark will accept debit and credit cards, which they haven't done in previous years.

Centennial Pool has a splash pad, diving board, small and large slides and a 50-meter lap pool, and is located at 2315 Reservoir Road.

Discovery Bay Waterpark, located at 715 E. 24th St., is home to an iconic dinosaur-theme pool, lazy river, splash pad and a 243 ft. slide.

The City of Greeley press release says, "open swim hours are from noon to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $4 for youth/seniors, $4.50 adults and $1.50 for children 5 & under, accompanied by an adult. Both of our outdoor pools offer a 10-punch youth/senior pass option for $32 and $40 for adults."

The Wibit® AquaTrack will be returning to Centennial Pool starting June 6th and continuing on Thursdays through July 18 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The “Swim-In Movie” is also back at Centennial Pool starting July 25 from 8 p.m to 10 p.m.

The “Swim-In Movie” is where you float in the water while watching whatever film is playing, while also snacking on $1 bags of popcorn.

There will also be a Wing Shack Food Truck on site if you get hungry for dinner.
