Last night in Denver, the Foo Fighters did Van Halen's 'Jump' like you have NEVER heard it before, believe us.

We thought the Foo Fighters' ballad-free Concrete and Gold tour set at the Pepsi Center was about to take a turn for the soft, as the keyboardist began to play John Lennon's 'Imagine.'

Grohl preached about coming together over rock 'n' roll, regardless of what we do, or where we come from; this was about being together, in the moment. But, then Dave Grohl, well, did what Dave Grohl does — and he united all of us mother f—rs with an unexpected rendition of Van Halen's 'Jump.'

And dammit if Taylor Hawkins didn't make this the best thing we've ever seen at a show. There goes our hero. Enjoy.
