They're the Northern Colorado Eagles - they come from all over to play in the Western States Hockey League and players need a place to stay!

The Northern Colorado Eagles are in the Mountain Division of the Western States Hockey League. They play a 30 game schedule each season. Their home rink is the Ice Haus in Greeley.

These guys come from across the U.S. and Canada to play, win, and hopefully catch the eye of the larger hockey leagues. The team gives Northern Colorado the opportunity to not only SEE some great hockey on this Tier II level but to also host a player for the season (about eight months.) In exchange, you can go to all the games!

It's called being a 'billet'- basically translated, 'a place to stay.'

You get a monthly stipend, the season tickets, and 10% off Northern Colorado Eagles merchandise. In addition, you get to build a special bond between your family and the player!

It's definitely something to think about, ey?
