The City of Greeley Culture, Parks and Recreation Department invites boys and girls to visit the Greeley Ice Haus Saturday, November 4 for a Try Hockey For Free clinic as part of Come Play Hockey Month. It's one of only three sites offering this opportunity in the state of Colorado. The Ice Haus will host the event from 1:45-3:15 pm that day only.

Youth, ages 4 to 9 years old, are encouraged to experience ice hockey for the first time and learn the basic skills in a fun, safe environment. It’s recommended that kids arrive 30 minutes before the event begins, to get fitted with the proper equipment. There is a limited supply available.

USA Hockey’s Try Hockey program, with the support of the National Hockey League and NHL member clubs, among others, is designed to provide youth hockey associations with a national platform to introduce new kids to the sport. Total Hockey and Liberty Mutual Insurance are official sponsors of Try Hockey For Free Days. USA Hockey has close to 500 locations offering this unique opportunity to kids nationwide.
