A Northern Colorado restaurant is getting some International recognition...again.

Chimney Park Restaurant & Bar in Windsor is one of the 13 DiRoNa Awarded Restaurants for 2016 from the Distinguished Restaurants of North America.

What is DiRōNA?

The Distinguished Restaurants of North America that, by recognizing excellence, seeks to promote distinguished dining throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The DiRōNA Quality Assurance Program is the only independent and anonymous restaurant inspection program that operates across North America. An extensive criteria and impartial inspection process are used to evaluate all aspects of an excellent dining experience. A restaurant displaying the DiRōNA Achievement of Distinction in Dining has earned one of the most respected awards in the dining and hospitality communities.

Chimney Park chef and owner, Jason Shaeffer, is a Virginia native and graduate of Johnson and Wales University in 1992. Chef Shaeffer trained under 4 different recipients of Food and Wine Top American Chefs, Trey Foshee, George’s at the Cove, La Jolla CA, Terrance Brennan, Picholine and Artisanal, NYC, Thomas Keller and Jonathan Benno, Per Se, NYC.
