Northern Colorado Winners at the 2016 World Beer Cup
The World Beer Cup highlights beer from all over the world, including Loveland, Fort Collins and Greeley! Five of our local craft brewers took home awards on May 6, 2016- take a look at which ones!
It’s called ‘The Olympics of Beer Competitions’- The World Beer Cup. It’s a part of the Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo held this year in Philadelphia. For the 20th annual event, the Brewer’s Association hosted 55 countries bringing close to 6,600 different beers. That’s a lot of competition, so to have brewers from Loveland, Fort Collins and Greeley make the cut- including one GOLD Medal, is very cool!
Bronze: 'Deceit'- Belgian-Style Pal Strong Ale.
Bronze: 'Puesta del Sol'- Vienna-Style Lager. .
Silver: 'Punjabi Pale Ale'- English-Style IPA.
Silver: 'Little Red Cap' -German-Style Altbier
GOLD: '90 Shilling' - German-Style Altbier
