***UPDATED 3/29/17
The Cinderella Project has added an additional encore sale date open to all Northern Colorado students who need a formal dress. The sale will include hundreds of beautiful dresses. The sale will happen at Fort Collins High School on Monday, April 3rd from 2pm to 7pm. The dresses will be $5-20 per dress.

My Mom made my formal dresses growing up. That saved us a lot of money. The thing is, so many people buy formal dresses and wear them once. If you have a dress laying around, please consider donating it to this project, so that someone who really needs a dress, can get one.

I contacted Tracy Spillman who is organizing the Cinderella Project. She said they "collect new and gently used dresses from businesses and individuals for our sale. The purpose is to provide an avenue for students who may not otherwise be able to attend prom, because of the cost."

They are asking for donations to be dropped through March 1, 2017. They also need roller racks for the transport, sale and storage of dresses. Donations can be made at Fort Collins High School, 3400 Lambkin Way, during school hours, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The proceeds of the sale go to the Poudre School District Teen Parent Program. The sale is March 8th at Dora Grace Bridal and is open to ALL Poudre Schools, as well as Windsor School this year. The dresses are offered at a super discount, between $5 to $20.
