A Teachers assistant in Greeley – Evan school district 6 who works with special needs students was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child. Jerica Zoe Enriquez, 24, the assistant who works at Jefferson Junior High was placed under arrest on charges of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and obscenity to a minor according to a news release from Greeley Police department.

Theresa Myers, District 6 Spokeswoman, said Jerica is accused of sexually assaulting a 14 year old male student, who is not a special needs student at Jefferson Junior High.  Jerica was placed on administrative leave when the allegations came to light on December 5th and has been not been allowed back to the school.

According to an article in the Greeley Tribune, Greeley Police have "significant evidence" which was placed on the warrant for Jerica's arrest.
