This Weekend: Chase Rice Live, the Poudre Pour, a Shred-A-Thon, and more!

Saturday at noon the Poudre Pour is taking place at the Carnegie Center for Creativity. It celebrates and raises awareness about local water issues with community members. This events includes craft brews, local coffee, and natural soda tasting stations, farm fresh appetizers, presentations on water issues in Northern Colorado, kids activities, live entertainment both indoors and outdoors, costumed docents in historic cabins, art exhibitions, and a silent auction. Ace Gillett is celebrating 9 years of jazz and cocktails every day until Saturday at 11pm. They’re also celebrating their upcoming renovation. They’ve have a throwback week to honor the most iconic Ace cocktails, as well as past favorite dishes. They’re not going anywhere; they’re just updating the menu and expanding the craft cocktail program. Details here.

Join Fossil Creek Nursery in making miniature gardens! You can choose from small figurines, mini trees, and different pots to create the best miniature garden. There will be light snacks and beverages provided. All ages are welcome. This is from 10am to 11am, Saturday. Details here.

Need to shred important documents? We all know when it comes to tax season there are so many unnecessary documents after. Keller Williams Realty has sponsored a Mobile Shredding Truck from Apex to come to their office and shred those documents. There will be mimosas, snacks and door prizes Saturday, 10:00 to Noon. Saturday 10am-1pm the Pass It On Mom is creating a FREE little scavenger hunt in Loveland. Over 30 hearts will be scattered throughout the city.  Little prizes will be hidden in at least 15 of those hearts. All you have to do is come find them. Details here.

Join the Youth Clinic on Sunday, for the Annual Bowl-a-thon and Silent Auction for World Down Syndrome Awareness happening at Chipper’s Lanes on Horsetooth from 5pm to 7:30pm. Admission for the silent auction is free. The proceeds benefit Mosaic Down Syndrome Association (IMDSA). Details here.
