The University of Northern Colorado has hired a new men’s basketball coach. According to the Greeley Tribune, Jeff Linder will be the 19th head coach of the UNC Bears.

Linder has been the associate head coach at Boise State University for the past three seasons, working for former UNC assistant coach Leon Rice.

Linder grew up in Colorado. He is from Lafayette and played basketball at Centaurus High School. He played at Colorado Mesa University and Western State University of Colorado. His parents currently live in Mead.
