Most of us last saw Vice President Joe Biden speaking about the importance of preventing sexual assault during the 2015 Academy Awards. Next, you will be able to see him in Colorado.

Vice president Biden will be speaking at the University of Colorado Boulder this Friday (April 8, 2016), as he visits college campuses across the country, imploring students to "take the pledge," at itsonus.org. The pledge is a "personal commitment to help keep women and men safe from sexual assault, promising not to be a bystander to the problem, but a part of the solution." It's estimated that to date, more than 330,000 college students from across the county have "taken the pledge," according to takepart.com.

As Vice President Biden travels across the country to speak at college campuses, he is scheduled to be accompanied by Lady Gaga at many stops, who is a passionate supporter of this movement. It is not known if Gaga will be with Biden as he visits CU this Friday. The Vice President is scheduled to speak at 2:30 p.m., at the Student Recreation Center Lower Gymnasium, if you were interested in attending.
