Odell Brewing Company is bringing back their much-anticipated Mountain Standard IPA, however, they're introducing a new recipe. Once a black IPA, the new brew will be paler in color with bright hop flavors, and will have a hazy finish.

What is a Mountain Standard IPA, exactly? According to a graphic posted by Odell, Mountain Standards feature bright hops, low bitterness, and no added fruit, along with several other characteristics. Here's the real question-- will I taste what I'm supposed to all within the first sip?

For those who know me, I used to work at a brewery for a short period of time, and despite getting a little behind-the-scenes peek at how a brewery works, I still don't consider myself an expert on ingredients or style. That being said, I know what I like...so here's my reaction.
