According to the Greeley Tribune:

Brandon Stupka was taken to North Colorado Medical Center by the on-duty sergeant where he underwent more than two hours of emergency surgery for wounds to his thigh and abdomen. He is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect is also expected to survive.

A Weld County Deputy was injured after exchanging fire with a suspect on Wednesday. ,Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2200 block of NW C Street, in Greeley, last night on a report that a man was possibly armed with a firearm.

Upon arrival, deputies were confronted by the suspect at the front of the residence. The suspect began shooting towards the deputies striking one of them in the thigh and abdomen area. Deputies returned fire and shot the suspect. The wounded deputy was rushed to a nearby hospital and is undergoing surgery, he remains in stable condition. The deputy is expected to survive. The suspect was transported to the hospital and his condition remains unknown at this time.

The deputies involved in the shooting will be placed on administrative leave during the investigation. The Critical Incident Response Team has been activated to investigate this incident.
