Remember that one time Denver had its own music festival, à la Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza? The inaugural Grandoozy, which featured Florence + the Machine, Stevie Wonder and Kendrick Lamar in 2018, announced it won't return in 2019.

According to KDVR, the organizers of the three-day event, which took place at the Overland Golf Course, said that they were taking a hiatus in 2019. But, they left festival lovers with a glimmer of hope, stating on Twitter that they'd use the 'hiatus' as 'an opportunity' to seemingly better the festival.

While September's Grandoozy (for the most part) got good reviews, there was one pretty big issue — the location, and getting to the location.

According to Denver Post's The Know, festival attendees were frustrated with the lack of transportation to get them to the festival. A Westword reporter called the post-fest transportation 'terrible' and 'a doozy of a mess.'

While Grandoozy didn't give an actual reason for the hiatus, it could be that they are scouting a better location. Grandoozy 2020? We'll see.
