Hotels across America are already turning on 'No Vacancy' signs for August 21, 2017, when the next total solar eclipse is scheduled to happen. So, will Coloradans be able to see it?

Unfortunately, the solar path just eclipses us here in Colorado. -- See what I did there? Ha... ha. We'll likely only see the partial eclipse. That's a bummer so I went ahead and found you a total 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, which is completely visible from Loveland.

"Wow, that's two bad jokes she's already made and I'm only half way through reading this." I know. Sorry.

Anyway, if you live just north of us in Wyoming, Casper is one of the best places you can see what is reportedly the first total eclipse visible in the U.S. since 1979 -- weather permitting, of course.

According to Great American Eclipse, at 11:42 a.m. on August 21, a total eclipse will happen right above Casper, and will last for about two and a half minutes. Dubois, Jackson, Riverton, Glendo, Thermopolis, Lander and Douglas will also be able to see it. [SEE MAP HERE]
