There's nothing like the smell of fresh asphalt on a summer day; that's what's coming to Horsetooth Road between Timberline and Zeigler, with closures to watch for.

Starting Monday, July 8, 2019, the City of Fort Collins will be repaving Horsetooth Road between Timberline and Zeigler.  I haven't driven that stretch of Horsetooth for a hot minute, I'm not sure how bad the road actually is, but they're coming, regardless.

They'll be closing down Horsetooth in one direction at a time for the paving, between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. for at least 6-10 days depending on how the weather cooperates.

After they get done with that, they'll flip over to Timberline and repave that between Harmony and Drake. Summer fun, y'all.
