Colorado’s ‘Lonesome Traveler Band’

Colorado is an amazing place to live, not only because of the natural beauty but for many other reasons as well. One of those reasons is the great music scene that we have here locally in Northern Colorado. I stumbled onto this home grown band yesterday and wanted to share about them. They got their start a few years ago right here in the Front Range, they are an acoustic band that plays blue grass music. Their sound is unique and very pleasing to the ear. Growing up in New York City I did not get a chance to hear many blue grass bands however I have always appeciated music of all genres. Listening to Lonesome Travelers latest CD remined me of classic rock fused with blue grass and folk. It's unique, fresh and sweet sounding. If you like Tom Petty's Wild Flowers album and have an open mind to blue grass you will love Lonesome Traveler. It has soul which can not be manufactured, it's all organic and from our very own Northern Colorado!
